February 14, 2017. Through back-country Georgia

CAMPGROUND:  Scenic RV Mountain RV. Excellent RV park.  Large sites.  Full hook-ups.  Pool.  Poor wifi, but everything else super.  Fish-stocked ponds.  9 stars. $35. LOCATION:  Milledgeville, Georgia

WEATHER:  Very nice.  Highs in 60s

We had breakfast with Aunt Martha, Uncle Leo and Candace and then left St. Augustine.  We drove through  the Okeefenokee Swamp in southern Georgia.

We drove about 6 hours, by  pine forests, blueberry farms, cotton fields, poor towns, and LOTS of Baptist churches.  We made it to our campground, where we had planned to stay because it is close to our cousins.
They met us at the RV park, then we went to town for dinner.  We had no idea that Milledgeville is such a cute place.  Full of history, and as a college town, is quite fun-looking.
We had a nice dinner with them at a Mexican restaurant and was fun catching up with family stories.
