January 14, 2017. Old Bisbee

CAMPGROUND:  Another night at Turquoise Valley RV Park

LOCATION:  Naco, Arizona.  In far south Arizona, next to Mexico

WEATHER:  Windy, partly cloudy Highs in 50s

It gets quite cool at night....in the 40s, so our newly-purchased mini electric heater has come in handy.  We spent most of the day in nearby Bisbee, an old copper mining town.  It has been restored, and seems like a real cowboy town.

First stop was the Old Bisbee Brewery where we had a beer and popcorn.  They make some really good beers.

It is built on a mountain, so the streets are steep.

Lots of artists live here.  Interesting buildings and artwork.

We had a calzone for lunch in this popular pizza place.

The weather turned cooler so we returned to the camper.  I did laundry while George watched golf on TV.

DINNER:  Using the tortillas and avocado we had bought in Mexico yesterday, I made tacos.  Used leftover steak and tomatoes.
