July 8, 2017. Worried about our cat

LOCATION:  House-sitting in Bangkok, Thailand

WEATHER:  Hot and muggy.  High around 99

We woke up when it was still dark, unable to sleep due to jet leg.  George looked at the clock which read 6:00 AM, so we decided to get up.  When I looked at the computer with real time, it read 3:00 AM!  We were up, so stayed up.  We watched the sun rise from our condo's balcony....

We played with Bronson, our charge here.  He is a beautiful old Maine Coon cat.  He likes to be brushed...

For today's outing, we decided to go to the weekend market.  We figured out the sky train system and got there easily, along with about 10,000 other people!

They sell everything under the sun there, and have lots of little stands to buy food.  I read that it encompasses 36 acres - just huge!  We stopped at a tiny restaurant for lunch.
By this time, sweat was running all over me.

We returned home on the sky train to find our cat in distress.  It appeared that he had gone into diabetic shock.  He is old and diabetic.  So, we followed the instructions in our homeowner's handbook, and took him to the vet at the pet hospital.

It was a bit of a challenge, as neither our condo's doorman nor taxi driver could figure out the address.  We did make it there.  By the time we arrived, Bronson seemed better.  They will keep him overnight at the pet hospital.
