June 1, 2017. Hanging out in Ferndale

LOCATION:  With daughter in Ferndale, Michigan, outside of Detroit

WEATHER:  Beautiful.  Highs in upper 70s.  Sunny

 

We spent the day mostly cleaning the house, and rearranging furniture.  It is so pleasant to have all the windows open and to hear the birds chirping.  

Our daughter Meredith has been watching a mother baby hatch her eggs and now feed her baby robins.  

We bought some herbs and planted them in a planter in front of the house.

I started a bit of weeding.  The irises are particularly pretty.

DINNER:  Sauteed chicken thighs with veg.  We are trying to eat healthy while I'm visiting.  So far, so good!
