WEATHER: Cooler and very pleasant. Highs near 60
We followed our normal Sunday ritual by watching "CBS Sunday Morning". Here it doesn't start until 9:00 AM, so really takes up most of the morning. We watched a few of the political "talking head" shows. So depressing.
For exercise, we walked into town and bought a few groceries. The spring flowers are blooming. We saw hyacinths on the walk.
And lots of people are growing daffodils... The camellia bushes are in full bloom.... And the azaleas as just starting to bloom....
Sycamore pods are everywhere....
George brought in a few for the cats to bat around.George watched golf on TV in the afternoon, while I made more travel arrangements for our upcoming trip to Europe. We will do a combination of airplane and train travel, I hope.
Our homeowners may return tomorrow evening. They are on a cruise and don't have wifi, so we are not sure of their plans. In any case, we started schlepping some of our stuff back to the pick-up truck. I made a spaghetti casserole for their return. I like to have a meal waiting for homeowners, as I'm sure that they don't want to go grocery shopping as soon as they return from a holiday.DINNER: Asian fried rice with leftover shrimp. I cleaned out the veg drawer in the refrigerator....broccoli stems, green pepper, green onion, garlic, ginger and mushrooms.
