We met with George's cousin and his wife near Chapel Hill, home of the University of North Carolina. He is a retired college professor. He and George share the Smothers Brothers as cousins. We had coffee and a chat together, then hit the road.
We drove about 3 hours north from Chapel Hill to Lynchburg, Virginia.
Luckily, it was backroad driving, not interstates. We drove through country roads with tobacco farms and blossoming cherry trees.
We received our weekly update from our tiny house builder with the latest photos. This is the kitchen....looks like it is coming along!
DINNER: Judy made a delicious dinner of porkloin and spinach.
George is related to the Smothers Brothers? That might, or might not, explain his quirkiness :)
