WEATHER: Cool and sunny. Highs in 50s
We went to the Davidson Farmers' Market. It had several vendors selling cheeses, meats, breads and eggs. Only a few have veg this time of year. We bought some goat cheese and some empanadas.
After lunch, we went back downtown, this time walking, to the CVS pharmacy. We had some coupons to use up. We saved $20 on a $40 bill. Pretty good!
In the evening, we went to Lake Norman Cottage, a darling wine and gift shop just steps from our condo. It is at the marina. Our homeowners had told us that they do wine and food pairings, so we thought we would check it out. It is a small place, very cozy as the name cottage implies. We sat next to a couple who were very chatty. We tasted about 5 wines with 3 courses....appetizer, main meal of salmon in pasta, and dessert. They were generous with their servings, and the cost was very reasonable. If we were staying longer, we would go back.
