LOCATION:  Housesitting in Bangkok, Thailand

WEATHER:  Hot and humid.  Highs about 90

 

We decided to stick around the condo most of the day to watch Bronson, our cat, just in case he got sick again.  He seems to be doing quite well.  He loves to be brushed, so we did a lot of that.   As a break, we checked out the condo amenities.  There is a workout room, sauna, library and infinity  pool.  George used the equipment in the fitness room; I traded some books in the library.  Then I went swimming in the beautiful infinitiy pool.  This is all on the 5th floor of the condo building.

In the evening, the homeowner's cleaning lady came. To make ourselves scarce, we went out to eat.  First, we returned to the bar at the yakitori place as they have a good happy hour.  The owner pulled down a screen, and turned on a 1-hour documentary on making sake.  We watched most of it.  Very interesting.  Then, we found a really sophisticated sushi restaurant down an alley way.

It was some of the best sushi we have ever eaten.

It was a very nice evening.
