WEATHER: Beautiful. High in upper 70s
We continued to do chores around the house. In the afternoon, I did a bit of weeding before I got overheated. All the flowers are looking so pretty. Just those pesky weeds :-(
A friend of mine from Minnesota who now lives in nearby Ann Arbor came to visit. We went to downtown Ferndale, with the intention of stopping at a quiet cafe to chat for awhile. We hadn't realized that it is Pridefest in Ferndale today. The streets were jammed with people, all having a great time.
We found a cafe, but it was anything but quiet and peaceful. Oh well, we had a nice time catching up with each other.
DINNER: Leftover chicken with sauteed veg.
